About Clean the World

Clean the World was founded in Orlando, FL in 2009 to address global health issues by using discarded hygiene supplies from the hospitality industry. Aiming to reduce the number of hygiene-related deaths, they began recycling soap into new bars to distribute to communities in need.

Since their founding, they have impacted millions of lives through their programs and through those of NGO partners.  With an emphasis on education, training, and community engagement, all programs promote self-sustainability and lead to long-lasting impact.

Throughout their history, they have distributed over 50 million bars of soap, hygiene kits, and other WASH supplies, contributing to a 60% reduction in the rate of deaths related to poor hygiene. Having served over
10 million people in 127 countries within the past 10 years, Clean the World is on a mission to provide WASH for All.
